Japan journey-tokyo-day 1

Here I am! I am so excited to be in Japan! I always want to visit this country of sakura since my child, this happened like a dream. I was landing the night before lately, sleepless, because I can't wait to see this country after first glow of sunshine.
My first discovery in Japan is vending machine, no exaggerate, those machine are everywhere. The beverage are so good that I can drink at less three bottles in a day, my favorite  Fauchon black milk tea.

Our first stop is Meiji jinju. The wood architecture appear a lot in Japanese anime, but it's still amazing to see this with my own eyes

This is typical Japanese tradition, people have to clean the hands before walking in the jinja

Ichiran give me a very special experience, a vending machine placed in front of entrance, people have to order to the machine before get in the dinning room, or maybe we can say cubicle. the waiter hide after a straw sheet that you are not able to see their face, quite interesting!

Pujol

Almost 3 years ago, I saw a post of my favorite blogger the ulterior epicure about this restaurant, no word can be more appropriate than prefect, the dishes are beautiful and creative, this restaurant is definitely a reason to make me be in Mexico
Blue corn tostadita with tuna fish, mixe chile, and radish

Baby corn with chicatana ant, coffee, and costeño chile

Mole madre, mole nuevo
The waitress can barely speaks English, but she try to speak French. From what I understood, the mole on top the tortilla is close to 300 days in conserve,  like a mother dough. Totally a new exprience for a stranger like me.

Brioche, cheese, tomatillo-mint marmalade, fruits
I am very disappointed about this experience, because this restaurant is highly rated on the web sites, moreover, Pujol win the sixteenth place of the world's 50 best restaurant 2013, twentieth for this year. When you expect more, you get less after all.

Mexico journey-Chichén Itzá

After 3 days stayed in Mexico city ans 1 days for the rest at our hotel in Cancun, we headed to Chichén Itzá at 7 in the morning. neither of us may drive, so we have to go with tour, and of course, I hate the tour!
After 3 hours in the bus, here we are in Chichén Itzá, it is totally different from what was in my mind, I thought that should be a rural place and hardly can see a person, finally it turn I was totally wrong. Actually it is a encircle park, The number of people over there makes me feel a little bite back to China. In our way headed to the center, I was more attractive by the handmade souvenir at sidewalk.
We reached the center a few minutes later. I was very impressed by the pyramids even I never have any interest for the history or archaeology, impressed by how Mayas built the giant thing long long time ago and use a punch of trick, as the equinox.

The whole gang moved to Valladolid for a very traditional lunch, meanwhile I took a nap. After all I am not used to get up early, especially 7 in the morning.

The beautiful fountain next to our restaurant.

After the lunch, I was extremely exhausted, honesty I can barely move. But when I arrived Il Cenote, I was speakless, even though I saw this place a thousand time from the photos, it's amazing to see this with my own eyes. Two little Indians girls imitated my move and play model in the photo, I saw two bloggers in the future.
